Meet Dr. Ouzhan Kalantari
ORAL SURGEON IN Irvine
Dr. Kalantari was born and raised in the Midwest, where he spent his summers in his mother’s dental office. During this time he realized that his future was in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Kalantari attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and double majored in Chemistry and Psychology. He then received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of California – Los Angeles, School of Dentistry in 2017. At UCLA, he was actively involved in Organized Dentistry and student government, serving as class Vice President as well as President of the UCLA chapter of the American Student Dental Association.
After obtaining his dental degree, Dr. Kalantari completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Case Western Reserve University, where he also earned his Medical Degree (MD). He has gained extensive experience in full scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgery including dental extractions, the diagnosis and treatment of oral pathology, facial trauma repair, corrective jaw surgery, dental implants, and treatment of TMJ disease.
Dr. Kalantari is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also is affiliated with and serves on the trauma call panel of Hoag Hospital, Mission Hospital – Mission Viejo as well as CHOC – Mission.
